Mathru School for the Differently-Abled
Tuesday 2/4/14
Today is my little brother Paul's birthday, and even though he's younger than I am, he has less hair and more gray hair than I do. Every now and then Life is nice, grin.
On the Philippine Airlines front, I have an email address for the president and CEO, thanks to RPLister Bill Barns who suggested I contact professional advocate Christopher Elliott. So I've sent off an email to Mr. Ramon Ang.
I already have an email out to the Hong Kong office of Philippine Airlines, and as I write this I received their response refusing to accommodate me.
So Mr. Ramon Ang, president and CEO of Philippine Airlines, is my last resort within that company. I can go no higher. May compassionate and humane reason prevail.
And if it doesn't, we go to Plan C. Maybe I can do a two-night layover in Hong Kong after all. My Lions buddy, fellow RP Social host, and fellow RPLister Larry Marcum can put me in touch with his fellow Lions in Hong Kong, who may be able to help me if I end up having to stay overnight there.
So one way or another everything will work out. It's sort of like Dorothy Parker loving having written but hating writing. It's lovely when it's all worked out but it can be awful while it's working out.
