LIGHTHOUSE FOR THE BLIND, SAN FRANCISCO CA
Meet "Embarcadero’s Leo," one of my mosaics that will be on display at the San Francisco Lighthouse for the Blind at 1155 Market Street, San Francisco CA 94103. My show will up from June through November, and I hope you can join us on Friday, June 8th for an Art Opening Reception, from 4:30-6 p.m. At the reception, the Lighthouse will also be welcoming exceptional and extraordinary individuals, who happen to be blind, and who will be selecting this year’s Holman Prizewinners – learn more at holmanprize.org.
Please RSVP to: [email protected] or 451-694-7333.
Even if you can’t make the reception on June 8, maybe you’ll be in San Francisco sometime before the end of November and can stop by the Lighthouse on Market Street and check out my show.
Hoping to see you on June 8th!
Mary
P.S. A note about Embarcadero’s Leo: I’m a member of the Sacramento Embarcadero Lions Club, and my personal project is to dedicate 100 percent of all sales of any of my lion mosaics to my Lions Club, to be used for the purpose of assisting deafblind guide dog users with expenses in obtaining and caring or their guide dogs, either directly or by supporting guide dog schools who train dogs to work with deafblind users. This Leo is 17” high by 16” wide, is made of stained glass, glass gems, and brass ball chain on a wood base, and took me about 80 hours to make. He’s priced at $800.
